(Birthday pics coming soon!)
My baby turned three on Saturday! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Well, after the first year anyway. He wasn't exactly the easiest baby in the world. I don't know what happened, but for about the last year and a half, he has been the nicest, mellowest, most obedient boy around. I think it is Heavenly Father rewarding me for all the sleepless nights I endured the first year of his life!
We gave Alex his main gift on Saturday (mostly because Jeff couldn't wait). It was an electric tractor for him to drive around. The boy is absolutely obsessed with tractors. Both of his Grandpa's have awesome tractors that he can never get enough of. Needless to say, he was in tractor heaven! We also celebrated by taking him to Kangaroo Zoo to play. When we got home, my parents came to visit and brought him his favorite cookies, OREO'S. Alex has the biggest sweet tooth of anyone I know and would eat the entire package in one sitting if I would let him......no question about it! On Sunday, we had the entire family over for dinner, presents, cake & ice cream. Alex's favorite present, besides his tractor, was a Woody doll from Toy Story. He is obsessed with Toy Story right now and played with him all night. It was a fun day.
Alex is my snuggler. He always wants to sit on my lap and give me "loves and kisses". When I am sitting anywhere close to him he always wants to hold my hand. I think it is so sweet. I try to love every minute of it because I know it will end soon enough! Today he followed me all over the house saying, "I'm your best boy, mom!" I always tell him that when I give him a hug. He is such a good boy. He is very kind-hearted and sensitive which are good traits for a boy to have. I hope he stays that way. Happy Birthday Buddy, we love you!

He is so cute! I am sad I missed his birthday. I will have to come down soon, visit, and spoil Audrey and Alex.
Too cute of a picture, he really is a sweet boy! Happy Birthday Alex!
Happy birthday to him! My brother's twins turned four that day. I can't believe how fast it all goes!
Oh, since I'm here, I'll tell you about a new blog my friend started: villageformoms.blogspot.com. Basically it's a forum where there's a topic and you give your advice and glean from others what they need. Your kids are getting older, but today's post was on sleeping, which it sounds like you know a bit about. Go ahead and stop by!
