Project of the day

Tis the season for yard projects! This was a flower bed we had that didn't have a sprinkler in it. I know it's dumb, but the builders did our front yard for us and for some reason didn't think we needed a sprinkler there. Anyway, last year I attempted to plant flowers there but I didn't water them enough and they died. This year we are doing away with it all together. We decided to put stone down and get a bench to put there. I think it will turn out pretty cute. Jeff worked really hard today, and only said a few swear words! It was hard to cut the stones to the right size. He and our neighbor, Jeremy, broke several but finally got it finished. It looks great. It's nice to have such a handy husband. I'll post more pics when I get a cute bench.....maybe for Mother's Day (hint hint).
P.S. Notice how nice and green our grass looks? Jeff is having a contest with our neighbor to see who can have the nicest lawn this year......FUNNY! He has really gotten into it. The lawn is his new baby, he comes home from work at night and goes out to admire it.

I love yard projects and now it's finally warm enough to do them! We should plan something over memerial day, I couldn't get the house in St. Geroge but we can still do something fun. I will look on Hotwire to see if we can find any good deals!

That would be fun, I thought that they lived in Layton. (josh and Erin) Anyways, I will be up, actually I am not sure, maybe as summer gets closer I can decide better. I think Kelly is still in Colorado, so we might have to talk to everyone ans see when the best time would be!
