7 years together!

Today is our seventh anniversary. I can hardly believe it! It seems like only yesterday we sat down in history class at Utah State and fell MADLY in love! I can't believe how much has happened since then.....

2001: We were both going to school at Utah State. We lived in North Logan in an apartment with orange and green shag carpet, sometimes I would find things growing in it.....NO JOKE! I worked in a Bridal Shop, a nursing home, and did home care as a CNA. I know, three jobs and school, I was a busy girl. Jeff worked at an electronic store. I think we had more disposable income then than we do now....sad. 2002: Both in school. Moved to Logan. Still worked a lot at the same jobs. 2003: Jeff finished school with a degree in English. I was pregnant with Audrey. We applied to Law School, and got in at the University of Tulsa. In August, we moved to Oklahoma for Law school. Audrey was born. 2004: Lived in Oklahoma. Made lots of good friends and loved our ward. Jeff was really busy with school and I stayed home with Audrey. Jeff got a part-time job as a clerk at a small Law Firm. 2005: I was pregnant with Alex. Jeff graduated from Law School. We moved back to Utah to study for the Bar exam. Lived with my parents. Jeff took the Bar exam and started working at a firm in Sandy. We started building our new house. Jeff gets laid off and finds a better job the following Monday. BIG RELIEF! Jeff starts his new job and loves it. Busy year! 2006: We move into our new house. Life finally settles down a little bit. 2007: Nothing really changes. 2008: Nothing really changes, again! We are just happy and settled....finally!

Since this is our seventh anniversary, I will tell you the 7 best things about Jeff!

1. He is the most layed back person I know. Nothing bothers him! He helps me stay grounded because I am not a layed back person at all! He is a great balance for me!
2. He is very loyal to me, the kids, and of course, the Aggies!
3. He always makes sure I'm happy.
4. He lets me go on getaways with the girls and takes care of the kids.
5. He is very funny and always makes me laugh!
6. He is a hard worker and always provides well for our family.
7. He is a great friend to me and the kids!
Here's to 6o plus more years of good times....and eternity. Love you babe!

I remember your wedding reception in your Grandparent's back yard. The colors were so pretty. Congrats to you both!

P.S. They say the first 7 years are the hardest so pat yourselves on the back!
